My friend and I went there for breakfast and left totally full. The portions are adequate enough to fill anyone, and for those with a smaller appetite, expect to have leftovers. The restaurant is well kept, and the employees are superb with their guests. I encourage you to take the pastry option of the cinnamon roll if you order breakfast, you will be surprised.

Checked out Polly's Pies to see what it was all about. Pros: Customer service was great. Servers were attentive without hovering. Hostess was polite and welcoming. Cons: Atmosphere wasn't to my liking. Not over-the-top, but a little too much noise for my comfort. The food wasn't great, but it was edible - somewhat. I ordered the turkey dinner. The turkey and red-skinned mashed potatoes were nice, flavorful and tasty, but that's were it ended. The vegetables were hard as rocks; the cranberry sauce look like it was five minutes from being thrown in garbage; and the stuffing - well there wasn't much there to be honest. Overall, not a bad restaurant, but I won't be rushing back for seconds.

I love Polly's. They have the best coleslaw. And of course their pies. Love the custard. And have to bring home their oatmeal walnut cookies. Always a treat to go there

This place is usually pretty good, depends on the waitress you get as far as service, the food is very uniform but tasty. We go here about once a month when we want good ol' American type comfort food, coffee is very good as they make it locally! Prices are medium but they do have specials going most of the time that are a better deal if you want a drink and a piece of pie with your meal or to take home! You gotta try their creamed spinach, It's the best! Restaurant is usually clean but visit during non-rush hour times if you want better service! I like that they have lots of window seats as I am somewhat claustrophobic.

The special Two for $25.99 menu is the way to go here. It's not a bad deal for the amount of food you will receive. We tried their new fish tacos and shredded beef tacos. They were good. The fish is grilled, not fried, which my preference. They came with a side of chips. The fish tacos had guacamole and limes on the side, the beef tacos did not. The pie is great...we took it to go because the appetizer and entree filled us up. Server Tillie was fast. Solid meal....not spectacular so 4 of 5. But we will absolutely go back. PS: they serve alcohol! Many people don't know that...
